Vistage, a coaching and peer-support organisation for managing directors and chief executives is running a free ‘taster’ event for non-members, in Edinburgh on 28 November.
Vistage, which has 45,000 members across 35 countries worldwide, including more than 1200 members in the UK, has been running events in Edinburgh for over 20 years.
Graeme Thompson, chief executive group chair at Vistage and one of the event hosts says: “Vistage offers its members a confidential peer-advisory group, one-to-one executive coaching and access to expert insights, all designed to help leaders make better decisions, overcome challenges and drive growth.
“Members benefit from a structured framework for problem-solving, enabling them to address complex issues strategically and grow their businesses faster than competitors.”
Commenting on what participants can expect from the event, Thompson explains: “They will be able to step out of the ‘day-to-day’ and into a transformative experience that will elevate their approach to leadership and long-term success.”
He adds: “We usually have 12-14 attendees at our events, who are all business leaders. They come from any sectors; Vistage celebrates diversity of businesses and people.”
The event, which is by invitation only, starts at 9am with breakfast and networking and runs till 12.30, when a Q&A session takes place over lunch. The venue is the W Hotel, 1 St James Square, Edinburgh.
