An online magazine for and about small businesses, micro businesses, sole traders, freelancers - and bigger businesses
Business networking can be a productive way to make new connections and build relationships with potential clients, customers and contacts.
Most events are held indoors, but not all: Fresh Air Business Walks offer the same opportunities but with the added benefits of exercise, fresh air and beautiful scenery.
Run by Dave Stewart of The Fresh Air Leadership Company, the monthly walks have attracted around 300 businesspeople, since they began, in 2021. The events also take the form of gravel biking and ‘canoe conversations’:
“The idea is to provide an alternative to indoor networking, where the focus is on great conversations, connecting and appreciating the amazing natural spaces we are blessed with in Scotland,” explains Dave.
There are just a few places left, for the next get-together, which takes place in Queensferry, on Friday 1 November. After then, the dates for your diary are Friday 6 December (Mugdock Park) and Friday 17 January, in Peebles and the Tweed Valley. The events are free (although there is a fee for the canoeing version, to cover costs). For further information/booking, call Dave or drop him a message.
