An online magazine for and about small businesses, micro businesses, sole traders, freelancers - and bigger businesses
It’s the 35th year of Doors Open Days, which celebrates Scotland’s history and culture with free events. In Stockbridge, St Vincent’s Chapel will be open for viewing on the weekend of 28/29 September. Stewards will be on hand to guide visitors, who can learn about the history of the Chapel, which opened its doors in 1857.
There are also plenty more locations to check out in Edinburgh, such as Bryce Hall, within the Bank of Scotland head office on the Mound. It’s open to the public on 28 September, for the first time since 2006. You can see art by Henry Raeburn and Alison Watt and a view out over the New Town. Remember to pre-book your ticket, though.
The National Museum of Flight in East Lothian is participating too. Drop in to learn about the history of aviation and to see what it’s like to board Concorde Doors Open Days | Find a building.
