One of Edinburgh’s best-known hotels is opening a new restaurant, The Court, on 22 October.

The space will include a cocktail bar, as well as a terrace, patisserie, lounge and a stage for live music.

The all-day dining menu has been created in collaboration with chef, Mark Greenaway, using seasonal Scottish ingredients. Diners can expect to see dishes such as fresh Scottish lobster roll on the menu.

The Edinburgh Caledonian first opened in 1903, since when it has hosted guests such as the late Queen Elizabeth II, Barack Obama and legendary entertainers such as Roy Rogers and Gene Kelly.

Commenting on the launch, Nitin Ramtri, general manager, said: “We look forward to welcoming guests to this exciting new food-and-drink destination.

“We’re providing an environment that reimagines networking, entertaining and dining events in an iconic building and location that only Edinburgh could offer.”
